Clatan’s globally integrated R&D platform helps expand our product portfolio to satisfy unmet medical needs. We have < 100 scientific affairs workforce who work collaboratively across multiple R&D centers around the world. About half of our scientific affairs workforce is based in India.

Pre-Clinical Research

Our pre-clinical department (PCF) initiates a wide range of knowledge, including regulative toxicity that is needed for filing Investigational New Drug (IND) purposes. An extensive assortment of microbiology and pharmacology certified.

Biotech Research

Our biotech research is centered on substituting existing chemical processes of manufacturing different intermediates, with fermentation and enzymatic-based conversions to enhance environmental safety and security.


The IPM administration encourages the growth of patent uses, data patents, advances the development of patent applications, and classifies potential new products and markets for APIs and formulations besides fostering research activities.


Our multi-therapeutic and particular companies with national clients for R&D projects indicate its development in the global medical innovation place as a likely acknowledged. The infrastructure includes independent labs for therapeutic chemistry, analytical chemistry and pharmacokinetics.


We have rapidly developed into a completely integrated Indian Pharmaceutical Company, balancing the pharmaceutical chain with its occupancy in all six assemblages of APIs, CRAMS labeled generics, monitored generics and NCEs.

Pharma Research

The pharma research department comprises antibiotic and non-antibiotic parts with particular departments for the local markets, other rising markets, and regulated markets. A technoscientific veterinary formulations plan is likewise advancing.
